St. Luke’s confirmation program is for youth grades 6th-9th, with 10th graders confirmed each fall. The program is relational in nature. We surround each youth with several caring adults while also supporting and emphasizing each family’s home faith life. Instead of focusing primarily on academic learning, we’d rather form deep relationships so that a kid has a caring adult to turn to when they need it.

6th - 7th Grade Ministry

6th and 7th graders meet Wednesdays from 6:30 pm-7:30 pm. Students alternate years overviewing the Old and New Testaments. Class includes relationship-building games, bible-based lessons, and small-group discussions.

8th - 9th Grade Ministry

8th and 9th graders meet Wednesdays from 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm. Class includes our nightly worship service, relationship-building games, and small-group discussions. The lessons emphasize how faith is a part of our daily lives.

2018-2019 Youth Registration/Permission Form

Coming this fall! "IT"S GO TIME" Truth In Meaningful Experiences. GO TIME will be a weekly night of faith formation for all ages. We will grow in our relationship with God and others as we learn, serve, worship and play.  Join us this September through May as we shake things on Wednesday Nights.

Wait, what’s changing on Wednesday nights?

The short answer is: not much.

We will continue to meet on Wednesdays for educational faith experiences with our Confirmation-age and church-school youth. But instead of having multiple drop off and pick up times for different aged youth, we will all be meeting from 6:30pm -7:30pm*. We know you have the skills to chauffeur multiple children to and from St. Luke, but we’d rather have you all here at the same time. That way, you parents can also have a break from the grind and a midweek chance to recharge your own faith.

GO TIME consists of a large group gathering in the Sanctuary followed by small group discussion time. Large group time includes music, lessons, games, and monthly communion. Small group time includes sharing about our lives and answering discussion questions related to the night’s lesson. Small group time is separated by age, with our volunteer small group leaders being the MVPs of this whole operation. Adults will then be grouped with other adults for their own discussion time.

GO TIME includes a few special onsite and offsite events throughout the year (Trunk or Treat, Feed My Starving Children, Share Tank, etc.).

Key Dates:

  • Sept. 12th - 6:45 pm GO TIME Informational meeting (youth & parents)
  • Sept. 19th - 6:30 pm GO TIME begins
